Recently I had the Opportunity to be in a large empty stadium and one of my children yelled out – and of course it echoed back. As always when you hear an echo it is indeed amusing. A re-sounding of a statement made out to the world comes right back at you. The larger the area, chamber, or “stadium” you are in, the longer the phrase is that repeats back to you without it repeating over itself. Ever wonder why echo’s exists? Well I believe they exists for one of those little BIG lessons in life.

Your daily living and thoughts are your own personal echo chamber. You see what you tell your self in thoughts and in out loud verbalization’s echo back. Since your mind is truly infinite in its capacities, the statements we make to ourselves can be volumes long and ALL of them do indeed “echo”. The more we concentrate on a thought the more we hear that thought. The more we hear that thought and verbalization of it especially, the more it becomes a “mantra”. The more it becomes a “Mantra” the more it becomes who we are.

So it is very important to allow thoughts that move us in the direction of our goals and dreams, of who we wish to be. Then the “ECHO” of life works for us instead of against us. If we choose thoughts in the knowing of what we want and verbalize them – then and only then are we using the “Law of Attraction” to its fullest power. Focused thoughts on Positive Goal Motivated Activities create space in our minds to actually then go and do, and carry out actions that will cause all that we are wishing for to come into our lives.

So today, pretend your thoughts and vocal statements were all screamed out loud in an large stadium. Listen for that Echo back and notice your feeling surrounding the echo back. Notice and become AWARE that this echo is actually what your subconscious is hearing. KNOW that your subconscious wastes no time in creating actions that will fulfill what it is hearing as your desires.

So as you begin becoming aware of this remember – the echo is what the subconscious hears, therefor a great deal of caution must be used in what is screamed out there…. Outlined below I will give you a couple of good examples and a couple of funny and not so good examples :

GOOD

1. I am loosing weight and getting healthier and healthier each day

- The subconscious mind will support you and guild you to more physical activities and a healthier eating style.

2. I am really accomplishing a great deal in my work. Sales are actually many times greater than my goals were. My income is skyrocketing.

- The subconscious mind will then allow excitement to come into play and motivation to do more and achieve more will occur. This will actually create an environment that will allow you to do just what you allowed to echo.

3. I am an excellent cook and create healthful and nutritional meals.

- This will actually create a pattern of thoughts and actions that will allow you to seek out healthful foods and recipies and create them.

NOT-SO-GOOD

1. I am feeling Fat and Out of Shape.

- This will create a feeling of not being able to become healthy. Your subconscious will assist you in giving up on being healthy. You will eat the wrong things and never work towards exercise or eating healthy.

2. I will never hit my Income Goals – I will never be that number one Sales / Customer Service / Engineer….

- This will allow your subconscious mind to “GIVE UP”. It will allow your subconscious mind to create an environment where you don’t go the extra mile to make things happen. You “WILL NEVER” so Why Bother.

So here you have a micro lesson in “The Law of Attraction”. Your mind is the most powerful creative tool you have. Controlling the focus of thought allows you to harness it’s power. The thoughts you choose to focus on with emotion creates who you will be and how you will behave. Controlling this is so very important. What I do for a living is teach precisely how to do that. They (whoever they “is”) say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This is indeed something I believe in. There is that perfect match of someone that you won’t grow tired of looking at, someone who’s faults will be overlooked through the passage of time and thus I suppose this is where some of this is founded in. So in the case of beauty or choice of the perfect companion to go through life – one person’s feast is another one’s famine. All of these types of statements are indeed transmutations of the statement, perception is reality.

In cutting through all of the superficial nonsense this actually becomes a mantra of mine,  a guiding light and a repetition that my own perceptions will indeed scope out my reality. Is the glass half full or is the glass half empty?? It is these thoughts that actually take form in our mind and direct the repeated thoughts. Those thoughts then become streams of thoughts that shape our attitude and then ultimately our words. Before long our own perceptions begin to shape the world around us.

For some of you reading this, this may come as a shock or a surprise, for others it is a sobering reality. It is these choices of thoughts or perceptions that we can begin our journey. Out journey for creating the life we truly desire. As we begin to see things from a positive standpoint and perceive that glass half full, we then begin to vibrate in a state of gratitude. It is from that state of mind or vibration that more and more things appear or look to be heading “in the right direction”. In actuality it is our perception or choice of thought that is crating these streams of thought. Perceiving the glass as half full means that you have gratitude for the quality of whatever is in the glass. That vibration is HIGHLY attractive and just might attract enough goodness from your environment so someone fills your glass back up without even asking….. I am certainly speaking metaphorically here but this is it. This is the secret to getting life to flow in the direction of your choice. The choice is your perception, your REALITY.

So today as you perhaps re-read this blog entry a few times remember to look at things from the most advantageous perspective. Allow that Perception of Gratitude, of Fullness or of Optimism to become your choice of thought. Before the day is complete you will begin to notice things heading in the right direction. It will give you proof and evidence that not only is your perception creating your reality but you will begin to feel a very calming affect in knowing that YOU had control all along. Not some outside mystical force. Not some Circumstance. YOU – Y O U!!! So take responsibility and declare all glasses half full.

To have “belief” in something means that you have confidence in something without necessarily having concrete evidence that it is. To “know” or to be “knowing” of something means that you not only believe that something is, but you have evidence to support that belief is indeed for real. So where does that come into play in the world of a Home Based Business or in Personal Development? Entrepreneur – Are You One? Now that’s an interesting question. Even today after nearly 20 years being one, I often ask myself that question. Why ? Some of you reading this may think – why would an Entrepreneur ask himself such a question if he already is? Well the answer to that in my mind is one of checking one’s own path, one’s own commitment to his or her dreams and goals, and most importantly;  are they creating something for the benefit of others so that not only do they personally grow but so that all of the people that do business with them also receives an experience whereby they come away with more than they originally engaged me for.

Entrepreneurs, which I do believe I am, are creators and trail blazers. They must create a product or a service which brings something different to the world or marketplace they are in. When they do, they then and only then, do they have a perceived value. Years ago in manufacturing I created a niche in business of constructing product based upon a designers idea’s. The value that I added was one where I took the vision of what that designer created and then made it into something that could be produced and used in everyday sportswear while knowing that the general public wants something that looks amazing (just like the designer designed it) but was bullet proof. Meaning it had to look Magnificent while being constantly abused and mishandled.

I was in Textile Fabric and Garment Manufacturing. I had learned great technical knowledge as a factory worker as a teenager and placed all that knowledge behind the simple fact that an Artist would design stuff often as fragile as an egg shell that would have to be interpreted and then recreated for the real world.

So what does that have with being an Entrepreneur or where does that play into questioning oneself about being or becoming one. Well here is the connection…. You see everyday as an Entrepreneur you will be faced with idea’s, concepts, challenges, and people. In those face offs, if you come to the table with the Positive “Never Giving Up” attitude you can take those marvelous egg shells and create a niche in every single engagement.

As a Home Business Coach and Entrepreneur, this is what I absolutely teach people to do. I find myself in such an interesting position these days. I am in a incredible leadership position at a Hybrid MLM Direct Sales Company Avant ™.  Hybrid meaning we are not just a direct sales company with retail profits but we are also a company that has many layers of residual income. I enjoy both sides of our compensation plan, every day I am able to generate profits upfront in retail and every week I also get to enjoy residual income from a rapidly growing organization. Over the past few days I had an interesting experience and it inspired me to share with all those looking at this blog. I sent quite a few people to a presentation where they heard many of my business associates announcing results from the use of Elevate ™ in their lives, our core product, and then a number of people announcing their personal financial results. The responses that I began to get from people were challenging, very challenging.

So I took a step back and began analyzing my own view of not only those around me who are having stellar results at Avant ™ , but in general I began to see something I had never seen before. There are some people you can absolutley feel are empowered and their vibration dictates total leadership and not only are they getting those results but they are in fact exceeding them. So I dug further. I keep all my personal journals over the years and I went back on a fact finding missions to see the vibration of myself on weeks that I had created an income (yes in one week) in excess of $20,000 and there it was. It was a vibrational display of the magnificence and harmony of life when desires and goals are in flow with what is actually going on. So as you all begin to look into the home based business industry and you hear results from products and particularly income claims listen not so much to the words but to the vibrations. If the vibrations sound like a symphony of sound that immediately gets through – well there you have a leader blazing a path you can follow. If it sounds like a band out of tune – well there you also have it it is a liar. This is what I advised all of those challenging people.

So crucial is it that you identify this, for if you do you will connect with a life changing product as well as an income you never dreamed possible. Six and a half years ago I found a company that did this for me. Then there was a time where that magic disappeared as the company changed and ownership changed. The Music left that Band. Today I am fortunate enough to have been reunited with that magic and the symphony that occurs in everything this company does. It is why it is one of the fastest growing companies in the direct sales industry. Clearly it has the ability to totally change lives and while doing that remove all limitations on what one person is capable of. I believe it will be one of the few companies in history to have many multiple 7 figure income earners.

So as you read this remember if you begin to recognize the vibrations sent and felt, you will know for sure whether it is Lies or Leadership. So lets think about this for a moment….. What exactly is a goal ?  The dictionary defines it as :  1) the mark set as a limit to a race…. an area to be reached safely in a child’s game ;  2) Aim or Purpose  (We are getting warmer here on #3) ; An area or object toward which PLAY is directed to score ; Or perhaps 4) a successful attempt to score.

Often times in creating an environment where we can assist others this has to be more clearly defined.   So here is my take on it : A Goal is something that you strongly desire to achieve, so much so that you are willing to step out of being comfortable or step out of your “daily routine” to do things in alignment with achieving that goal.  It should be measurable.  It should be a clear picture of what your heart and mind desires; something that you desire strongly enough to take action on NOW.  You should also be able to clearly see yourself in accomplishment of that goal in your mind.

This definition of a Goal is how I describe this to people when we are setting a system of goals in place to build their own home business.  When an individual sets time aside to create these big Juicy Mental Images, they begin to rekindle their dreams.  They again become self motivated and inspired to take action.  Look around you today, and before you sit down and put a list together of goals – look around you and carefully review the people that have a ton of goals, a ton of inspiration.  They are energized and full of life.  On your ride to and from work – look around you at all the projects in work.  Look at the road construction – it is a goal.  Look at some construction of buildings – it is a goal.  In fact, for some the mere goal of making it home in time for dinner tonight  is a goal……

After you play with these thoughts, sit down and think about your life.  Really think about it.  Are you in the Home you desire?  Are you in the Job or Career you desire?  Are you in the Car you desire?  If not, ask yourself – WHY NOT?  These questions, while they may be a bit uncomfortable, are the beginning of knocking some cob webs out of your brain.  Do you remember, as a child,  how persistent you may have been while going after something you wanted??? You had a goal in mind and you relentlessly envisioned and asked for it.  Go back to that state of thinking and begin to question why you may have given up your goals; then start all over again.  Set some uncomfortable BIG HUGE goals, then allow that anxiety of how BIG they are and how difficult they will be to achieve, to fuel your ambition to get them.  Then take action NOW!

Goals are the key to taking a bite out of life and having what you desire.  When you are indeed having life on your terms think of the positive vibration you give to others. Think of how awesome it is that you brighten someone’s day.  These are why goals are so vital.  You have control over this if you take it. So today, do some of these exercises, and set some goals.  Take a bite out of life and regain some of that childlike inspiration.  Spread it around and affect the people around you in a positive manner.  I know in my heart you will be pleasantly surprised as to how it goes.  So set some goals!

When I think about visualization, I think of it as a tool.   Often people do not realize just how incredibly powerful they are and how their visualizations,  GOOD or BAD, actually pave a way for that mental picture to become a reality.  We, as human beings, are creative creators.

Think about it from an architect’s perspective.  He or she dreams of a building or home - visualizes it.  He then begins to sketch out the design. Then takes his or her idea to whomever they were providing this service for, and based on clarity and enthusiasm he or she then begins to enroll that person, or group of people, in their vision.  Once this vision is accepted, the clients then begin to push the resources into his flow of vision and before too long a building or home is  built.

So how does this relate to you and I?  It’s actually quite simple.  As we begin to think and dream, mental pictures are created.  The clearer and more defined the mental picture the more passion we will begin to develop in that direction. When we begin to get really passionate, we begin to share those dreams and visualizations; we begin to enroll people all around us in the possibility of that vision becoming true.

There is evidence all around us of this. The telephone on your desk at one point was a vision in Alexander Graham Bell’s mind.  The home you live in was a thought – a Vision – in someones mind.  The car you drive also started as a vision.  We, as human beings were created with this ability.  It works on small and large scales.

So how are things going? Have you hit your goals recently? Sometimes we set admirable goals that are huge and attractive and get us super motivated only to find that, even though we did our best we did not hit them….. Good Morning to all those visiting and reading these micro lessons on personal development. Today I have a special share for as I build Home Based Businesses with others for a living , I can’t help but notice and focus on some interesting things as I become aware of them.

I became aware yesterday of how important it is to not get hung up on the ignorant comments of others. Sometimes people that are influential in your business or on your path allow their Ego to broadcast messages that ultimately, if you allow them to, create resistance. It is through awareness of the behavioural patterns of those individuals that they lose the power to have any effect on you. In fact, as you become aware, you can isolate their comments in your life as nonsence. When you accomplish this they cannot create resistance but actually begin to serve you in the elevation of your awareness and presence to the here and now.

So if you have someone who is a person whom you felt as important to your life  on on your path of growth, take only what serves you from their commentary or guidance. It is your focus of energy and thought that gives their guidance meaning. You get to choose the impact they have on your life.

So choose wisely on the focus of what people are saying around you as this is the first step in taking responsibility to a level where YOU have control and THEY DO NOT. Focus on the good that these individuals bring into your life not the crap that they ignorantly bring to the table. There is greatness in many of my mentors yet sometimes they choose to play EGO and then, well when ego controls the situation they bring crap. So choose not to focus on crap and then for sure you will notice resistance to what you are truely after falling by the wayside.
