Do Goals REQUIRE a Time-Line

MINDSET  MERCHANTS   DAILY  CALL

Our Call Today :
Today’s Topic : Clarity on Time Line / Negative Goal Vibe  vs.
Positive Goal Vibe
In yesterdays Conversation we discussed why time-lining goals may
indeed be counter intuitive. Today we’ll continue clarification on that
and why.The most important questions that branched off from yesterday’s
conversation was that question around how to deal with the VIBE
surrounding a goal when it is achieved “ON TIME” and when it is
NOT Achieved “ON TIME”. If you don’t hit your target if there is a
“Deadline” how and why that changes your vibe….. Taking that
one step further the conversations and questions via : email that
followed ran a little deeper. They stemmed off into what if you have
little belief in this goal happening NOW… OR ASAP…..??
So this required a little Study, a little Interpretation of many
perspectives, and ultimately mixing this with a little of my own
experiences…. I then asked myself the questions I always do
about my own goals :

1) What can I do TODAY to make this Goal Happen NOW or ASAP?
2) As this goal does come into form, if it did today, how would I
feel or Vibrate….??
3) And when I ask this question, I ask how it would feel if the feelings or vibrations I push out their as a result of KNOWING the goal was going to be hit – what would people around me feel??
In order to get rid of the timeline the goals that you are working towards
you must believe they are possible NOW…. I will show you ways to do that today. This way you enlist not ONLY your own power and ability but those around you that become enrolled in your belief. Then you are not the only one working towards your goal. I will go into detail on things that have come to me or things that I do for others and show you how these things build to a faster results AND how it causes others to assist in hitting major targets and goals.
It’s again, The Law of Attraction in action. When you use the Law of
Attraction, you are not alone in achieving your goals. You enlist the
services through your VIBE of all those around you. So in Goal Setting
it is HIGH TIME you understand this and WAY EXPAND your belief
in what is possible and achieve far far more.
See You on The Call.

Vibrational Goals – Is This Goal Yours?

Wednesday, February 1st, 2012

MINDSET  MERCHANTS   DAILY  CALL

Today’s Topic : “Accomplishing the Goal – Goals”
We have begun traveling down a path now a bit more
in depth than I have chosen to take us in the past. We
are getting more in tune with awareness and the fact
indeed that our thoughts control our words, and our
words and attitude create our vibration. We have
reviewed in yesterdays call precisely how to isolate
negative vibrations and then re tune our thinking
so that our vibration is what we choose.

In the past week or so since we reviewed “Vibrational
Goal Setting” a number of emails came in with questions.
These questions were different from any questions that I
have ever received. Many of you are bridging the gap in
months that took me years (7+).
So below you will find another mini-worksheet exercise.
Use this to check your goals to see if those goals, for you,
carry any Vibrational Integrity…. Meaning if you will really
do anything or what it takes to make them – something
you take ownership of and will be grateful for in
Your Future. We discuss the rest on the call.

IS YOUR GOAL “YOURS”
Exercise 1 : When you come up with a goal – is it SELF-ISH ;
in other words is it something for you that makes you
feel GREAT? If it is write it down below and think about it.
If you immediately feel that wave of YUCK, that states
to your gut that I can’t have this something is out of
alignment:
_____________________________________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________________________________
Exercise 2 : Now take that Goal and look at it from a different
perspective……. If Goal ____________________________________
was in my life and it was given to me as a GIFT…. That I could not
push away or refuse would it make me FEEL GREAT?
Yes or No….
If the answer is yes, then you must take into consideration
what is really going on.
We’ll discuss this so take notes :
____________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________
If the answer is NO, then you must take into consideration

what is really going on.
We’ll discuss this so take notes :
____________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________

Goals should indeed Inspire. They should create a Motivated
and Highly Attractive Vibration that is OUTWARDLY Visible.
Goals should indeed be shared with those who support you.
This will create a specific vibration of not only Leadership,
but also on purpose ness that will amplify your confidence.
It is essential that your goals fall into this stream of – Dare I say
“Reality” for if they do then you will have goals that command
the Law of Attraction and then – the elements necessary for their
achievement – will not souly or soley rest on your shoulders.

The Toughest Choice – Changing Mindset

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

The toughest choice a human being can have is one where they change their Mind….

I have the most amazing privilege of showing people new perspectives on things. As you may or may not know, I have been exposed to an unusual combination of Real Sales and Marketing Training, NLP Training and a huge exposure to Personal Development. The point is, after being in business for most of my life, the experiences and knowledge I have gained have now placed me in a position where I CLEARLY SEE multiple perspectives on any given situation. It is the viewpoint of any and all situations that allows us to change our perspective and approach – OUR MINDSET…. It is our Mindset that will dictate our behavior.

Now that was a mouthful and a half, so let’s think about this. If our Mindset or our Belief is of the nature that we can easily accomplish something – then we set out, and many times we accomplish it. You see, our Mindset is our most important ally. It is created by our conditioned belief system. It is the foundation of who we are and what our mission with each gift of a day will be. So our environment, our upbringing, the people we choose to have around us and listen to, all play a role first in our beliefs, then our Mindset.

So after being in the direct sales industry and network marketing for now nearly 8 years, I began really studying people and what they are up to. I saw clearly what happens over and over again when people look at things BUT DON’T CHANGE THEIR MINDSET – They Fail. So, years ago, I began asking more questions to determine what it was in their belief  system that causes them to freeze up and not take action steps, that they themselves already see proof and have evidence as to their potentail. The culmination of 8 years of watching, observing, learning, and most of all absolutely calculating the exact point at which an individual will GIVE UP – AND LIMIT THEIR PERSPECTIVE TO ONLY THEIR OWN – and I found it.

So, my mission, and the permanent mission of Mindset Merchants, will be first to get people past thier toughest decision ever….. To Change their Mindset and Behavior to that of an Entrepreneur. Then we have a REAL SYSTEM so People learn to EMPOWER themselves, to command all of their abilities and line them up with the proper Mindset – so they live the Business and Personal life they have decided to.

Define Your Dreams – Step 1 in Making it Happen

Monday, October 4th, 2010

I coach and teach many people to expand their awareness with the use of a product Elevate. The reason I use Elevate is that it is a comprehensive program designed to lift them out of their “IF ONLY” thinking into one of more possibilities. It is essential for people to become aware of this fact for if life is constantly based on “If Onlys” then how could we ever grow or expand.

The first step in getting out of your own way is to eliminate the following thoughts and statements from your vocabulary :

1) When I have _______________, I will be happy.

2) When I fix _______________, I will be happy.

3) I need _______________, then I will be happy.

We must start in a place of being grateful for what we have by literally making a list, an inventory of all that is already in our lives. Once the list is compiled it is essential that we clearly look at our perspective of each and every thing. We must change our perspective of each and every thing in our lives so that we are in appreciation of them or it. One example would be a dog. Dogs can be a kind loving addition to a family, bonding them together with memories and fun. When cared for, a dog gives its love of the family unconditionally. That is one perspective. Another perspective is one of a tiresome responsibility to have the dog. That perspective is full of “work and aggravation”. Cleaning, feeding, taking care of the animal none of which is empowering or feels good or even has one ounce of Gratitude in it.

Once we have a great gratitude filled perspective we can, from there, begin to dream up what we would be grateful for if those dreams became part of our experience. It is essential that we set the stage in a feeling of future gratitude; for that energy is the energy that will drive us to do everything we will be required to achieve the desired goals. This magical way of allowing thoughts to expand in the future gratitude allows us to see how we will feel in the future. Magically our own efforts, language and motivation push us in the direction of making things happen so that we achieve our dreams.

Goals – Your On Purpose Road to Success

Monday, September 20th, 2010

Do all of you clearly understand the importance of GOALS? Do you understand why it is the backbone of success for almost anything we wish to do not only in a Home Based Business, but in life? You see, most people live life like it is a Random Circumstance. These people live life in a way where their environment creates situations that they are reacting to every day. There is no order, no direction, no sense of purpose, ad thus they end up just living life from situation to situation.

Goals begin to pull your life’s activities into an On Purpose direction. The more on purpose the your life is the more you not only accomplish but the more it becomes exactly what you want instead of merely just a reaction to circumstances. Think about the minor things you may already be applying “goals” to. Take for instance a grocery list. When you go to the grocery store with a list you get everything on it and have a specific set of needs covered. Taking that one step further, this will in turn plan your meals at home for the next few days. Which will in turn direct the specific time for preparation. So that list of goals, no matter how trivial, has a very orderly on purpose effect.

Now lets take a step back and look at your work or business. If you have a very detailed and specific set of defined goals, and a job or business that is the vehicle for getting there, think for a moment……. if you knew the activities you were performing on a daily basis had the PURPOSE of getting you exactly where you designed you wanted to be…… How productive could you be? How much better a job would you do? Wouldn’t you take things far more seriously if you knew precisley where you were heading? Then wouldn’t you channel all of your physical and mental energy in the direction of your work and goals so you get there?? The rewards when you have that much motivation and focus are HUGE!

So today, sit back and think about things. Do you have clear goals? Do you have a vehicle to achieve them, a business or a job? Really think about it and remember, as you begin to plant yourself into a defined plan, activities, thoughts, actions and passion begin to flow into your life. So set some goals now. Road map things for the next 3 months, then 6, months, then 1 year, then 3 years, and create a long term plan so your life has a very defined purpose.

GOAL SETTING

I encourage you to pick up a pen and a piece of paper and jot down the goals you want to reach. Look at each goal and evaluate it. Make any changes necessary to ensure it meets the criteria for SMART goals:

  • S = Specific
  • M = Measurable
  • A = Attainable
  • R = Realistic
  • T = Timely

Specific

Goals should be straightforward and emphasize what you want to happen. Specifics help us to focus our efforts and clearly define what we are going to do.

Specific is the What, Why, and How of the SMART model.

  • WHAT are you going to do? Use action words such as direct, organize, coordinate, lead, develop, plan, build etc.
  • WHY is this important to do at this time? What do you want to ultimately accomplish?
  • HOW are you going to do it? (By…)

Ensure the goals you set is very specific, clear and easy. Instead of setting a goal to lose weight or be healthier, set a specific goal to lose 2 in. off your waistline or to walk 5 miles at an aerobically challenging pace.

Measurable

If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it. In the broadest sense, the whole goal statement is a measure for the project; if the goal is accomplished, the is a success. However, there are usually several short-term or small measurements that can be built into the goal.

Choose a goal with measurable progress, so you can see the change occur. How will you see when you reach your goal? Be specific! “I want to read 3 novels of 300 pages before the end of the year” shows the specific target to be measured. “I want to be a good reader” is not as measurable.

Establish concrete criteria for measuring progress toward the attainment of each goal you set. When you measure your progress, you stay on track, reach your target dates, and experience the exhilaration of achievement that spurs you on to continued effort required to reach your goals.

Attainable

When you identify goals that are most important to you, you begin to figure out ways you can make them come true. You develop that attitudes, abilities, skills, and financial capacity to reach them. You begin seeing previously overlooked opportunities to bring yourself closer to the achievement of your goals.

Goals you set which are too far out of your reach, you probably won’t commit to doing. Although you may start with the best of intentions, the knowledge that it’s too much for you means your subconscious will keep reminding you of this fact and will stop you from even giving it your best.

A goal needs to stretch you slightly so you feel you can do it and it will need a real commitment from you. For instance, if you aim to lose 20lbs in one week, we all know that isn’t achievable. But setting a goal to loose 1lb and when you’ve achieved that, aiming to lose a further 1lb, will keep it achievable for you.

The feeling of success which this brings helps you to remain motivated.

Realistic

This is not a synonym for “easy.” Realistic, in this case, means “do-able.” It means that the learning curve is not a vertical slope; that the skills needed to do the work are available; that the project fits with the overall strategy and goals of the organization. A realistic project may push the skills and knowledge of the people working on it but it shouldn’t break them.

Devise a plan or a way of getting there which makes the goal realistic. The goal needs to be realistic for you and where you are at the moment. A goal of never again eating sweets, cakes, cookies and chocolate may not be realistic for someone who really enjoys these foods.

For instance, it may be more realistic to set a goal of eating a piece of fruit each day instead of one sweet item. You can then choose to work towards reducing the amount of sweet products gradually as this feels realistic for you.

Be sure to set goals that you can attain with some effort! Too difficult and you set the stage for failure, but too low sends the message that you aren’t very capable. Set the bar high enough for a satisfying achievement!

Timely

Set a timeframe for the goal: for next week, in three months, by next year. Putting an end point on your goal gives you a clear target to work towards.

If you don’t set a time, the commitment is too vague. It tends not to happen because you feel you can start at any time. Without a time limit, there’s no urgency to start taking action now.

Time must be measurable, attainable and realistic.

Everyone will benefit from goals and objectives if they are SMART. SMART, is the instrument to apply in setting your goals and objectives.

After you set these goals today understand that this is one technique I use to assist people in building the motivation they require to create an incredible business from home. Once they know where they are going I have the tools to take them there, rapidly. Make it happen and feel free to be in touch with David Varrone – call me directly at 954-349-7386.

Why Set Goals – Why Get Out of Bed??

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

So lets think about this for a moment….. What exactly is a goal ?  The dictionary defines it as :  1) the mark set as a limit to a race…. an area to be reached safely in a child’s game ;  2) Aim or Purpose  (We are getting warmer here on #3) ; An area or object toward which PLAY is directed to score ; Or perhaps 4) a successful attempt to score.

Often times in creating an environment where we can assist others this has to be more clearly defined.   So here is my take on it : A Goal is something that you strongly desire to achieve, so much so that you are willing to step out of being comfortable or step out of your “daily routine” to do things in alignment with achieving that goal.  It should be measurable.  It should be a clear picture of what your heart and mind desires; something that you desire strongly enough to take action on NOW.  You should also be able to clearly see yourself in accomplishment of that goal in your mind.

This definition of a Goal is how I describe this to people when we are setting a system of goals in place to build their own home business.  When an individual sets time aside to create these big Juicy Mental Images, they begin to rekindle their dreams.  They again become self motivated and inspired to take action.  Look around you today, and before you sit down and put a list together of goals – look around you and carefully review the people that have a ton of goals, a ton of inspiration.  They are energized and full of life.  On your ride to and from work – look around you at all the projects in work.  Look at the road construction – it is a goal.  Look at some construction of buildings – it is a goal.  In fact, for some the mere goal of making it home in time for dinner tonight  is a goal……

After you play with these thoughts, sit down and think about your life.  Really think about it.  Are you in the Home you desire?  Are you in the Job or Career you desire?  Are you in the Car you desire?  If not, ask yourself – WHY NOT?  These questions, while they may be a bit uncomfortable, are the beginning of knocking some cob webs out of your brain.  Do you remember, as a child,  how persistent you may have been while going after something you wanted??? You had a goal in mind and you relentlessly envisioned and asked for it.  Go back to that state of thinking and begin to question why you may have given up your goals; then start all over again.  Set some uncomfortable BIG HUGE goals, then allow that anxiety of how BIG they are and how difficult they will be to achieve, to fuel your ambition to get them.  Then take action NOW!

Goals are the key to taking a bite out of life and having what you desire.  When you are indeed having life on your terms think of the positive vibration you give to others. Think of how awesome it is that you brighten someone’s day.  These are why goals are so vital.  You have control over this if you take it. So today, do some of these exercises, and set some goals.  Take a bite out of life and regain some of that childlike inspiration.  Spread it around and affect the people around you in a positive manner.  I know in my heart you will be pleasantly surprised as to how it goes.  So set some goals!
