The Echo of Life – It’s Really Your Subconscious

Recently I had the Opportunity to be in a large empty stadium and one of my children yelled out – and of course it echoed back. As always when you hear an echo it is indeed amusing. A re-sounding of a statement made out to the world comes right back at you. The larger the area, chamber, or “stadium” you are in, the longer the phrase is that repeats back to you without it repeating over itself. Ever wonder why echo’s exists? Well I believe they exists for one of those little BIG lessons in life.

Your daily living and thoughts are your own personal echo chamber. You see what you tell your self in thoughts and in out loud verbalization’s echo back. Since your mind is truly infinite in its capacities, the statements we make to ourselves can be volumes long and ALL of them do indeed “echo”. The more we concentrate on a thought the more we hear that thought. The more we hear that thought and verbalization of it especially, the more it becomes a “mantra”. The more it becomes a “Mantra” the more it becomes who we are.

So it is very important to allow thoughts that move us in the direction of our goals and dreams, of who we wish to be. Then the “ECHO” of life works for us instead of against us. If we choose thoughts in the knowing of what we want and verbalize them – then and only then are we using the “Law of Attraction” to its fullest power. Focused thoughts on Positive Goal Motivated Activities create space in our minds to actually then go and do, and carry out actions that will cause all that we are wishing for to come into our lives.

So today, pretend your thoughts and vocal statements were all screamed out loud in an large stadium. Listen for that Echo back and notice your feeling surrounding the echo back. Notice and become AWARE that this echo is actually what your subconscious is hearing. KNOW that your subconscious wastes no time in creating actions that will fulfill what it is hearing as your desires.

So as you begin becoming aware of this remember – the echo is what the subconscious hears, therefor a great deal of caution must be used in what is screamed out there…. Outlined below I will give you a couple of good examples and a couple of funny and not so good examples :

GOOD

1. I am loosing weight and getting healthier and healthier each day

- The subconscious mind will support you and guild you to more physical activities and a healthier eating style.

2. I am really accomplishing a great deal in my work. Sales are actually many times greater than my goals were. My income is skyrocketing.

- The subconscious mind will then allow excitement to come into play and motivation to do more and achieve more will occur. This will actually create an environment that will allow you to do just what you allowed to echo.

3. I am an excellent cook and create healthful and nutritional meals.

- This will actually create a pattern of thoughts and actions that will allow you to seek out healthful foods and recipies and create them.

NOT-SO-GOOD

1. I am feeling Fat and Out of Shape.

- This will create a feeling of not being able to become healthy. Your subconscious will assist you in giving up on being healthy. You will eat the wrong things and never work towards exercise or eating healthy.

2. I will never hit my Income Goals – I will never be that number one Sales / Customer Service / Engineer….

- This will allow your subconscious mind to “GIVE UP”. It will allow your subconscious mind to create an environment where you don’t go the extra mile to make things happen. You “WILL NEVER” so Why Bother.

So here you have a micro lesson in “The Law of Attraction”. Your mind is the most powerful creative tool you have. Controlling the focus of thought allows you to harness it’s power. The thoughts you choose to focus on with emotion creates who you will be and how you will behave. Controlling this is so very important. What I do for a living is teach precisely how to do that. Why Set Goals – Why Get Out of Bed??

So lets think about this for a moment….. What exactly is a goal ?  The dictionary defines it as :  1) the mark set as a limit to a race…. an area to be reached safely in a child’s game ;  2) Aim or Purpose  (We are getting warmer here on #3) ; An area or object toward which PLAY is directed to score ; Or perhaps 4) a successful attempt to score.

Often times in creating an environment where we can assist others this has to be more clearly defined.   So here is my take on it : A Goal is something that you strongly desire to achieve, so much so that you are willing to step out of being comfortable or step out of your “daily routine” to do things in alignment with achieving that goal.  It should be measurable.  It should be a clear picture of what your heart and mind desires; something that you desire strongly enough to take action on NOW.  You should also be able to clearly see yourself in accomplishment of that goal in your mind.

This definition of a Goal is how I describe this to people when we are setting a system of goals in place to build their own home business.  When an individual sets time aside to create these big Juicy Mental Images, they begin to rekindle their dreams.  They again become self motivated and inspired to take action.  Look around you today, and before you sit down and put a list together of goals – look around you and carefully review the people that have a ton of goals, a ton of inspiration.  They are energized and full of life.  On your ride to and from work – look around you at all the projects in work.  Look at the road construction – it is a goal.  Look at some construction of buildings – it is a goal.  In fact, for some the mere goal of making it home in time for dinner tonight  is a goal……

After you play with these thoughts, sit down and think about your life.  Really think about it.  Are you in the Home you desire?  Are you in the Job or Career you desire?  Are you in the Car you desire?  If not, ask yourself – WHY NOT?  These questions, while they may be a bit uncomfortable, are the beginning of knocking some cob webs out of your brain.  Do you remember, as a child,  how persistent you may have been while going after something you wanted??? You had a goal in mind and you relentlessly envisioned and asked for it.  Go back to that state of thinking and begin to question why you may have given up your goals; then start all over again.  Set some uncomfortable BIG HUGE goals, then allow that anxiety of how BIG they are and how difficult they will be to achieve, to fuel your ambition to get them.  Then take action NOW!

Goals are the key to taking a bite out of life and having what you desire.  When you are indeed having life on your terms think of the positive vibration you give to others. Think of how awesome it is that you brighten someone’s day.  These are why goals are so vital.  You have control over this if you take it. So today, do some of these exercises, and set some goals.  Take a bite out of life and regain some of that childlike inspiration.  Spread it around and affect the people around you in a positive manner.  I know in my heart you will be pleasantly surprised as to how it goes.  So set some goals!
